Mindful break(s)

Can you be still and just be, or does your busy insanity level reach dangerous peaks?

Instead of going through the motions, try to practice a little more mindfulness. In other words, think before you act or make little things into a bigger deal. For example, try to prepare your morning cup thoroughly rather than dump random grounds into the coffeemaker and chug the milk like fuel. Or notice the hot and cold water splash on your skin and smell the soap instead of screaming through the shower. Savor the sunrise, and enjoy the breath of fresh air like a sacred ritual without crushing a cigarette.

It is seriously about mindful thinking...

We can all try to just BE like a kit-kat

  1. In a general context mindfulness is defined as moment-by-moment awareness of thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, characterized mainly by "acceptance" - with attention to thoughts and feelings without judging whether they are right or wrong.
